  • The first step is to log in for which you need to click here.
  • Then, the “Request an Audit” page is going to appear in front of your screen when you will see the listing of your currently active degree programs. All you need to do is click Run Declared Programs and wait.
  • Now your new degree audit is ready to view and you need to click the View Audit link.
  • Note that the degree audits are a snapshot in time of your progress towards the completion of your degree. All the audits are deleted after 7 days by the system itself. And then you need to run a new audit to see your latest academic information.
  • Also, you should know that there is an option to save the audit and for that, you need to click on the save a PDF option. A file will then be saved to your computer.

What is the right way to read your degree audit?

For reading the UCSD degree audit, you should know that your degree audit is broken up into individual components which are as follows.

  • Major(s).
  • Minor(s).
  • College General Education (GE) requirements.
  • University requirements.

The final degree audits process:

The final process includes 2 steps which are explained in detail.

Step 1:

  • The colleges receive student DDAs online.
  • Then college advisors are responsible for verifying completion of all the required general education requirements and some university requirements as well by the end of the quarter of graduation.

Step 2:

  • Now during the fifth week of the quarter, all the department advisors are advised or encouraged to begin reviewing deficient audits and then continue to review student’s progress.

  • Next, you need to obtain the department chair’s signature on all of the degree audits.
  • The undergraduate students need to enter e-approval in the E-DDA portal near the end of the quarter.
