The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) is known to be an agency of the European Union which was established in the year 2008. The aim of this agency was to strengthen Europe’s ability to innovate. The EIT is considered an integral part of Horizon 2020 which is the EU’s framework program for research and innovation. EIT digital drives innovation all across Europe by integrating business, research, and education organizations to collaborate and then find a solution to pressing global challenges.
