The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music or the ABRSM is an examination board and also a registered charity which is based in London, England. It aims to provide exams in music centers located all over the world. The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music was established in the year 1889. Then it was rebranded in the year 2009 as ABRSM. Then in 2012, the clarifying strapline “the exam board of the Royal Schools of Music” was introduced. Every year, more than 600,000 candidates take the ABRSM exams in almost 93 countries, and below are names of the Royal schools referred to in ABRSM’s titles.
